The National Disability Authority is delighted to announce the launch of the 2019 Someone Like Me Competition. This important competition aims to raise awareness and understanding of disability issues amongst primary school children. Pupils are asked to submit pieces of art which express what they have learned and winners will be announced at a prize giving ceremony in City Hall, Dublin this December.
Information packs including junior and senior lesson plans were posted to all primary schools in Ireland this week and corresponding activity sheets can be found on this website.
